Wirtz inspires Germany to bounce-back win over Morocco

Germany kept their World Cup alive with a confident 3-1 win over Morocco, Florian Wirtz pulling the strings in a much-improved performance.

After a flat opening defeat to Argentina, Julian Nagelsmann's side were sharper from the first whistle. Wirtz opened the scoring and set the tempo, with Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala adding to the tally. Achraf Hakimi's fine strike offered Morocco hope, but Germany saw the game out.
